Positions which foreigners are given work permits in Vietnam:

Currently, foreigners who are granted work permits belong to four main groups as follows:

  1. Group “Managers”:

As a private enterprise manager and company manager, including private enterprise owner, general partner, Chairman of the Board of Members, member of the Board of Members, President of the company, Chairman of the Board of Directors. Board of Directors, members of the Board of Directors, Director or General Director and individuals holding other management positions as prescribed in the company’s Charter.)

Or the head or deputy of the head of the organization.

  1. “Executive Director” group:

The CEO is the head and direct manager of a unit under an agency, organization or enterprise

  1. Group of “experts”:

Experts are workers with good expertise.

– Have a university degree or higher or equivalent and have at least 3 years of work experience suitable to the job position that the foreign worker plans to work in Vietnam.

  1. Group of “technical workers”:

Technical workers are workers who meet the following conditions:

– Be trained for at least 01 year and have at least 03 years of experience suitable to the job position that the foreign worker plans to work in Vietnam.

– Or have at least 5 years of experience in a job suitable to the job position that the foreign worker plans to work in Vietnam.
